Featuring a unique design with a resin-encased genuine cinnamon ant in a gold-like color, this vintage piece is over 30 years old. The ring is rare as it is no longer in production.
From the early days when designer Yosuke Yoneyama established the brand, the "Creature & Insect Series" was introduced in 1991, featuring insects encased in resin.
The series established the M•A•R•S World, where organic forms, particularly insects, were expressed with a streamlined beauty in form and detail.
Utilizing resin-encased actual cinnamon ants for a visual effect of appearing larger, the ant ring became a representative work symbolizing the brand.
