This is the Apollo silver Ring from the early days of the M•A•R•S brand.
Featuring a unique design with a resin-encased genuine cinnamon ant in a gold-like color, this vintage piece is over 30 years old. The ring is rare as it is no longer in production. A collaboration with Viridi-Anne is currently available, but the design is simple.
From the early days when designer Yosuke Yoneyama established the brand, the "Creature & Insect Series" was introduced in 1991, featuring insects encased in resin.
The series established the M•A•R•S World, where organic forms, particularly insects, were expressed with a streamlined beauty in form and detail.
Utilizing resin-encased actual cinnamon ants for a visual effect of appearing larger, the ant ring became a representative work symbolizing the brand.
